Java Backend Developer

ROLE: JAVA BACK END DEVELOPER
TYPE: CONTRACT
LOCATION: HILVERSUM, NETHERLANDS

THE RESPONSIBILITIES AND REQUIRED SKILLS ARE AS FOLLOWS:

- Spring, Spring boot and Micro-services
- JAX-RS, Restful Webservices, Tomcat, Jetty
- Junit, test first mindset
- SQL, JPA, Hibernate
- Gradle, Intellij, Git, Jenkins

MORE ROLE SPECIFIC:

- Java development for the Retail merchandising team, planning processes being main scope. Experience/knowledge with Retail Planning processes is preferred, not mandatory.
- Work directly with end-users and BSA to develop the real product in an agile manner, good communication skills and experience with Business Analysis are preferred.
- Thorough knowledge on Java development and hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services.
- Experience with Agile way of working
- Proven experience within Retail Planning end-user tool development
- Candidate has to be able to work in a dynamic and flexible environment.
- Experienced with designing attractive and intuitive User Interfaces/Front End
