Java Architect - Long Term Contract

A Java Architect is required for a client of ours in central Brussels.

We are looking for someone with experience of application architecture and modelling with recent experience working as a Java Architect. You will have experience defining solutions and establishing technical implementation plans of the applications to be developed.

You will have proven experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and experience in the following areas:

- UML and software design patterns such as GoF
- Java EE, Spring, Hibernate
- Web technologies such as: HTML5, CSS3, AngularJS, JavaScript, JSON, Ajax, JQuery, Wicket
- Integration technologies such as: web services, SOAP, REST, XML, Axis, CXF, Mockito
- Continuous integration and related tooling such as: Jenkins/Hudson, Nexus, JUnit, Selenium, Sonar, Maven, Ant, SVN, GIT, Puppet, Chef
- Experience with one of following application or web Servers: JBoss, Tomcat, Weblogic, WebSphere
