Java Architect/Developer Job

JAVA ARCHITECT/DEVELOPER needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Mt. Laurel, NJ.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Development and Architecture experience with the following technologies:
- Java Version 1.7 & 1.8
- J2EE Components: JSP, Annotations, EJB, JDBC, JavaBeans

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- This is will be a mix of oversight and hands on work. The candidate must be experienced enough to understand the end to end application architecture life cycle of building/testing/deploying/operations/maintenance
- The goal of the resiliency program is to reduce business impact by re-architecting and hardening our systems.
- This is a program that covers 10 different applications with each application having a different technology stack. These cover multiple functional areas like activation, enterprise event messaging, enterprise services platform, enterprise directory service, etc.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Candidates need to have experience in developing active/active architectures, building/using well-formed APIs, etc. They need to have strong operations experience and understanding so they can participate in the dev-ops model.
- Java Version 1.7 & 1.8
- J2EE Components: JSP, Annotations, EJB, JDBC, JavaBeans
- MVC Framework: Apache, Spring
- Some web design is nice to have IE "Pretty pages"
- Basic understating of SQL
- Deployment: Maven
- Fluent in Scripting: Shell, Perl

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Cassandra, Kafka, Hadoop/MapReduce, HBase, RabbitMQ, Camel, etc.
