Java Application Developer

An exciting opportunity is available for a JAVA APPLICATION DEVELOPER. This role is located in STRASBOURG/FRANCE, working for an IT service Provider at a client in the public Sector.

The main duties will be:

- Development and maintenance of software applications
- Development and integration of technological components
- Implementation of user requirements
- Prototyping
- Elaboration of test programs
- Integration with other applications
- Writing of technical documentation
- Assistance with deployment and configuration of the system
- Participation in meetings with the project teams

We are looking for candidates with the following profile :

- Minimum 3 years of relevant education (Bachelor degree or equivalent) after the secondary school;
- Minimum 4 years of IT professional experience, of which minimum 3 years' experience in Java application programming
- Proven experience in Java development, Spring framework, PostgreSQL, Hibernate, and Jasper reports
- Experience of integration of Java application on Linux platforms
- Knowledge of other programming environments (eg .NET)/script languages is an asset
- Experience in application administration
- Fluent in English. French skills are not required.

The position is offered as a long-term freelance contractor as an employment contract (CDD) with a duration of 80 WORKING DAYS.
