Java and Wireless Solutions Architect

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Responsible for developing information architectures and data models.
- Provide technical support across an innovative and technical application that demands a broad understanding of technology.
- Develop detailed functional design and prototypes (eg Oracle solution components, YODA).
- Work with cross functional teams to design and implement business requirements.
- Work to resolve application issues, designing and implementation system enhancements, and in documenting new user requirements.
- Provide input for production related issues; planning, design and execution of data conversion activities.
- Act as a liaison between IT and the internal business customer.
- Translate business objectives and process into clear definition of IT requirements, culminating in successful delivery.

SKILLS
Must have expertise in mobility wireless solutions, Java, and Networks. Understanding and having experience dealing with all the technical groups throughout the company is vital. Very knowledgeable to provide support for production issues, application changes impacting infrastructure and impacts to the infrastructure when products are sunset.
