Jasperreports Specialist (m/f)

IHRE AUFGABEN:

-Support a leasing software implementation
-Utilise your Java skills to develop and customize functionality, primarily on the end-to-end solutions for vehicle leasing, financing, fleet and mobility management with Miles (Sofico)
-Complete Java coding tasks, utilising database technology skills
-Complete technical & functional testing before handover – identify and resolve defects
-Deliver feedback to team members in an appropriate and timely manner
-Ensure appropriate hand-over of completed development tasks
-Complete technical documentation relevant to development tasks performed
-Consult with the IT provider and internal departments on technical matters
-Meet and work with project managers, internal and external colleagues ensuring that functional requirements are met
-Provide budget estimates, investigate the validity of solutions offered by business consultants and offer technical solutions
-Respond to change requests as required

IHRE QUALIFIKATIONEN:

-Ability to write effective and useful documentation
-As a Java developer, you have worked on complex applications, written to solve complex business issues
-Technology or computer science degree/qualification
-Professional development experience and Java skills
-You have solid knowledge of object oriented and component based development and experience with SQL and Oracle
-Experience in converting client requirements to software is desirable (i.e. reading a specification and developing what is wanted)
-Preferably, you have application server experience (such as Oracle WebLogic), covering development and basic administration
-Experience in reporting tools (Crystal Reports, SSRS or Jasper) and web technologies (HTML, JavaScript, GWT, Servlets/JSP/JSF, Apache Tomcat) is beneficial
-Experience in lease management software is highly advantageous
