My prestigious Blue Chip banking client is seeking a Senior ( or expert ) J2EE Java Developer with experience of WebLogic and Batch Processing, who can be quickly step in and help them speed up development and performance tuning. The assignment for the J2EE Java Developer is within a Payables Solution project, which is part of a larger programme. The PS project develops a solution enabling corporate customers to do filebased payments. The PS Core application is a batch oriented Java component processing the incoming payment files ( it validates and loads the payment transactions into DB2, release payments for execution in local Legacy payment systems, receives status back and generate return files to the customer with status information ). PS Core interfaces to other solutions. The PS Core team consist of 8-10 Developers and Testers, and are using Scrum as framework for their way of working - the J2EE Java Developer will work with them.

For this assignment we are looking for the J2EE Java Developerto have solid skills in tuning a batch oriented Java application using Spring Batch, JDBC to DB2, Weblogic and JMS queues, as we expect very high volumes of files and transactions to be processed
