J2EE Developer - Identity Management (S9)

The selected candidate will work in an existing team involved in support, maintaining systems with J2EE technologies interacting with current and Legacy systems. MUST HAVE PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE WITH A MATURE IDENTITY MANAGEMENT PRODUCT (NOVELL IDM, TIVOLI IDENTITY MANAGER, OR SIMILAR)

To be considered for an interview, applicants must demonstrate the following skills and qualifications:

- Minimum 5 years IT experience
- Demonstrated high level experience and proficiency in all of the following: Java, JSP, common J2EE Design Patterns, EJB, HTML, JDBC, XML, Oracle databases
- High level understanding and experience with Authentication and Security environments, including Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP), preferably Microsoft Active DirectorySignificant experience in analysis, programming and testing in line with best practices for software development is required.
- Preparation and maintenance of technical documentation in accordance with the Department's standards and best practices is a necessity.
- Demonstrated experience in mentoring technical staff, as well as following and absorbing direction provided by senior team members and architects. 
- Ability to work within a team environment, promoting and contributing to a positive and quality focused team experience.
- Ability to provide specialist application support and maintenance, investigate and resolve system incidents and data anomalies and maintain system performance in enterprise scale systems.
- Ability to liaise with business stakeholders, users, other application maintenance and project teams and Information Technology units such as infrastructure, architecture, service desk and quality assurance to ensure quality outcomes.

Please note that preference will be given to candidates with the following:

- Experience with a mature Identity Management product (Novell IDM, Tivoli Identity Manager, or similar)
- Sun Certified J2EE developer
- Building web services
- Struts, Spring, Swing
- Message Driven Beans and JMS
- JDeveloper IDE
- TIBCO Enterprise Service Bus
