J2EE Application Engineer - Dutch Speaking

Introducing new functionalities and improving existing ones from both a technical and business point of view is key. We are looking for a quick learner and a J2EE application engineer (> 5 year experience), a team player, ready to take the project to the next level.

- Participate in the design, development, integration and testing of new applications or functionality enhancements
- Participate in weekly status and project meetings with the Project Manager
- Provide user support on these applications to internal clients
- Uploading new content to applications
- Change request support and administration
- Service request support and administration
- Application maintenance activities
- Accepts personal responsibility for client satisfaction
- Establishes and manages engagement objectives, expectations and quality plan
- Ability to identify and implement process and/or application improvements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Must be able to work on multiple simultaneous tasks
- Quick learner, motivated self-starter
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal, communication and team collaboration skills
- Able to follow change management procedures and internal guidelines
- Master and/or Bachelor Computer Science. Advanced course work in technical systems plus continued education in technical disciplines is preferred
- Additional certification is a plus
