6 MTH CONTACT - SYSTEMS ENGINEER - SUBSEA - BRISTOL My client based in North Bristol are urgently seeking a Senior Systems Engineer within their Subsea division to work within their Intervention Workover Control Systems equipment portfolio. Responsibilities Technically responsible to take clients specifications and respond, in full, with par excellence technical solutions. The role encompasses that detailed below, requiring full 'cradle to grave' ownership. - Full Review And Understanding of The Technical Scope, Requirements And Specifications. - Working within the allocated Project Team to deliver the required System Engineering Scope. - Interpretation and Creation Of Specifications both at Customer and ISO Level. - Creation and ownership of System Engineering Design File. - System FMEA / HAZOP / TRAP focal point. - System Interface Engineering Input. - Creation of Work Packages for Specialist Tasks. - Lead / Participation in Design Reviews. - Technical Liaison with other Departments, Customers & the Supply Base. - Problem Solving / Root Cause Failure Investigation and Technical reporting. - Operational Support during the Build and Test phases. - Technical representative for offshore support. Key Skills Sought:- - Must have substantial experience in the Subsea Controls Industry, in both equipment and system design. - Ability to understand how systems solutions are defined in the presence of equipment performance and environmental constraints. - Ability to articulate controls and instrumentation system designs covering hydro-mechanical, electronic, electrical and software aspects. *** Contractor Ideal/Special Experience: Detailed understanding of IWOCS systems - to include hydraulic Power Units, Umbilical's & Reelers, Containers, Chemical injection units and the typical Subsea equipment involved
