The ITSM Technical Architect is accountable for the value delivery of ITSM technical solutions in support of the ITSM program objectives. The ITSM Technical Architect will lead efforts to implement the company's ITSM technical solutions necessary to automate processes and support the operation of end-to-end IT services and pervasive IT processes. The incumbent will participate in an enterprise-wide ITSM program and will closely collaborate with other ITSM team members in the delivery of capabilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

- Participate in requirements gathering, design and implementation of ITSM capabilities.
- Based on requirements, able to build/document a holistic logical and physical ITSM architecture design incorporating service models, applications, IT infrastructure, CMDB and other relevant architectures that are particular to the ITSM environment.
- Provide oversight at key milestones and manages expectations during implementation.
- Translate business requirements into ITSM system configuration requirements.
- Build and maintains broad and deep technical capability sufficient to advise on architecture before and after the investments/purchase.
- Transfer expert level knowledge to team members and customers.
- Build roadmaps and ITSM system strategies to support the needs of the business and end users.

SKILLS

REQUIREMENTS:

- Candidates MUST have proven experience in delivering ServiceNow solution set at a large global corporation.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science/Engineering or related field required.
- 15+ years of demonstrated success in IT.
- 5+ years of experience in ITSM systems, CMDB and discovery solution delivery.
- Strong understanding of ITSM and BSM solutions and intersecting capabilities.
- Proven track record for developing viable solutions (people, process, technology, information) with complex requirements
- Proven track record in mentoring and developing team members
- Proven experience in delivering ServiceNow solution set at a large global corporation.
- Thought leader who is well versed with current ITSM trends with ability to influence decisions.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills. Able to relate to a wide range of technical staff, managers and executives.
- Ability to provide effective presentations to IT leadership.
- Solid track record in project management, including working with and managing complex solution delivery in large, globally dispersed organization.
- Prefer ITIL v3 Expert certification.
