Job Description for ITSM Manager:

ACTIVITIES/SKILL SET REQUIRED:
1. Experience in ITILv3 best practice - knows ITSM Process landscape
2. Will become trusted SPOC for tool knowledge of how the (Excel-)toolset supports Capacity & Demand Management
3. Sense for pro-activeness, effectiveness
4. Need to know with whom and how to partner - internally and externally
5. Look for continuous improvements dealing with Capacity & Demand Management
6. Actively challenges status quo and look for simplifications
7. On board remaining Service Lines into (mainly) Capacity & Demand Management process

ACCOUNTABILITY:

Basic knowledge as Technical writer to create, assimilate, and convey technical material in a concise and effective manner.
Assist in planning, creating and developing various CSI activities as per process needs, like manuals, training materials, instruction guides and other technical documentations.
Participate in IT infrastructure/process/service meetings with relevant SMEs (Subject Matter Experts).
Gather all relevant IT infrastructure/process/service and support information from relevant SMEs.
Incorporate all information into required IT infrastructure/process definition documents, work instructions, user documents, training guides, and other relevant documents.
Assimilate knowledge during discovery and collaborate with stakeholder to assess current IT infrastructure/processes and define/document improvements in line with ITSM Process and ITIL v3 standard.
Assist in identification of discrepancies/gaps in current IT infrastructure/processes and deliverables.
Review and edit technical writing by other team members to maintain clarity, consistency, and quality.
Deliver final versions of the materials and submit to document control for release.
Maintain project and task plans and assignments.
Adhere to all departmental policies, procedures, standards, and document templates where applicable.

REQUIREMENTS FOR ITSM MANAGER:
Fluent in English - oral and written, German nice to have
Excellent in technical English.
Good technical documentation skills.
Experience in ITILv3 best practice preferred.
Pharma experience together with a good understanding of processes/organization etc. is a true asset.
Good understanding of GxP and 21CFR part 11 requirements, preferably in Pharma Industry.
Experienced MS Excel capabilities
Basic experience with other MS Office Tools, MS SharePoint and MS Project.
Team work in a challenging IT environment.
Ability to work in an international as well as multicultural environment.
Good verbal communication skills.
Ability to translate complex concepts into user-friendly, clear, concise information for the end user.
Good illustration skills.
