ITIL Service Design Manager

Projektbeschreibung

An IT Service Design Manager is required to lead the design and alignment of IT services, implementing a service strategy and leading the Service Design function within this hugely successful financial services company. The successful candidate will be an experienced IT Service professional with experience in all aspects of service strategy, design and delivery, ideally having worked in a large corporate or IT services or consultancy environment.

THE ROLE:

-Interpreting user insight and performance data to drive service design and operational improvements for digital and assisted digital service channels
-Articulating the diverse requirements of users and delivery partners to support effective delivery of a service
-Translating aims and needs into clear and manageable plans and determining resource requirements to support service design and maintenance
-Supporting the IT Service Design and Transition Manager in creating service delivery plans that have positive impact and are aligned to the overarching IS strategy
-Building and sustaining the capability to design, build and operate high quality digital services
-Identifying step changes that transform the flexibility, responsiveness and quality of a service, taking quick, confident decisions at a strategic level to move things forward
-Acting as an advocate for the transformation of services, promoting the progress and publicising learning
-Creating and maintaining a strong network of connections across IT and the wider business community
-Support the department in delivering Back End technology that enables that delivery of excellent IT services
-Gathering and reporting performance data against KPIs to generate actionable improvements to the quality of services offered
-Maintain a strong focus on delivery priorities, holding others to account for delivery, and swiftly responding to changing requirements
-Promoting resilience and responsiveness in the organisation by being open and honest about challenges, and the actions required to address unexpected developments
-Managing a team of 4 consisting of IT Service Capacity Manager, IT Service Release & Deployment Manager, IT Service Asset & Configuration Manager, IT Service Risk & Continuity Manager

EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS:

-ITIL v3 Expert (preferred) Intermediate (considered)
-PRINCE 2
-Solution Development and Architecture Practitioner BCS (or similar)

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

-Has undertaken a similar role in an IT Service environment operating a virtualised shared IT infrastructure
-Strong team leadership skills with the ability to set and create the right climate for optimising results achieved through others
-Can demonstrate experience of implementing ITSA&CM process into a financial services organisation
-The candidate will have worked in a ITSD Management role within a FS regulated organisation, being the point of escalation for all ITSD Management information.
-An experienced decision maker with ability to influence and negotiate within and outside the department in order to achieve service offering objectives. Individual will demonstrate an instinctive ability to evaluate risks, priorities and business benefits, leveraging strong business experience/knowledge. A full understanding of the importance and priority of services to the success of the business and the solutions are required.

-IP Address Management through Microsoft & Infoblox DHCP
