IT Vendor Manager, Supplier Manager - Data Center or Connectivity/Tele

Location: Eindhoven

Start date: Asap, available to start within 1 month for a minimum of at least 2 days a week. Half of March full time availability is a must.

End date: 01/08/2015, with option to extend

Project description:

As Vendor Manager you will be responsible for building and managing the relationships with the global external data center, connectivity and telecom partners of the client. You will closely cooperate with your fellow Vendor Manager and together you will ensure that these partners meet or exceed their contractual obligations. You will be working closely with the Enterprise Computing and Connectivity & Telecom team 19s vendor manager, solution and service owners and with your counterparts at the suppliers to match demand and supply. The Vendor Manager is part of the Enterprise Computing and Connectivity & Telecom team and reports to the Manager Enterprise.

Scope of work:

Pro-actively assist the clients vendor manager and actively own part of the vendor management portfolio and or responsibilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Manage a subset of IT contracts in scope:
- Contractual changes, updates, renewals
- Monitor agreed service levels and KPIs per vendor as agreed in contract
- Orchestrate service improvements (content and procedural)
- Complaint handling
- Crisis handling
- translate business requirements in cooperation with solution owners into contractual changes
- Maximize utilization of contracts (services within the contracts)
- Enterprise computing, Connectivity, Telecom and IAM financial planning and reporting (BRM, Deep Dive, RFF/budget, monthly reports)
- Manage financials in relation to contracts (PRE, PO, invoice checking and resolution, payments)
- Quote-to-bill for all services in scope
- Manage relationships with vendors and ensure these relationships are solid and transparent
- Collaborate with NXP Purchasing
- Align with business projects and support M&A projects
- Meeting structure
- Weekly team meetings, vendor management meeting
- Drive regular meetings with vendors (according to agreed governance structure)

SKILLS:

- IT vendor and/or contract management (MUST) > 5 years
- Experience with operating with global contracts (MUST) > 5 years
- Semiconductor manufacturing experience is nice to have. 3-5 years
- IT Data center experience is preferred otherwise experience with Connectivity/Telecom market. > 5 years
- Excellent relationship management and conflict management capabilities
- Able to negotiate and collaborate with vendors at many different levels
- You have the right analytical qualities to monitor and review vendors' financial and operational performances
- Dutch (pre, not a must) & English (Must) business fluent

Additional info:

You have experience with operating on an international basis with a clear appreciation of cultural issues. You have good knowledge of the Data center (preferred) or otherwise with Connectivity and Telecom market. You have excellent relationship management and conflict management capabilities. You are able to negotiate and collaborate with vendors at many different levels. You have the right analytical qualities to monitor and review vendors 19 financial and operational performances.
