IT/UAT Test manager - Brussels

A global telecom company based in Brussels are searching for an IT/UAT test team manager to manage all testing activities including integration and system testing to ensure all releases are bug-free into the UAT test environment ready to be acceptance tested. As the IT/UAT Test manager you will be expected to have knowledge and understanding of test methodologies ie Waterfall, V-model, iterative, agile and also be experienced in quality center and JIRA any experience with TMap and/or ISTQB is an advantage as is experience working in telecoms.

The technical environment the IT/UAT Test manager will work in is Oracle, Unix, JAVA, .Net, BO/DWH, Qlikview, DB query tools (PL/SQL). And the testing methodologies used are classic V-model, exploratory testing, Iterative testing and Agile.

IT/UAT Test manager day-to-day duties include:

IT testing = integration + system testing:
- Read & validate the RFA (=Requirements & Functional Analysis document)
- Read & validate the TD (=Technical Design document).
- Create Integration & System test scenarios
- Create end-to-end test scenarios
- Create regression test scenarios
- Create data migration test scenarios
- 'GO' to start IT test scenario execution
- Execute Integration & System test scenarios
- Execute end-to-end test scenarios
- Execute regression test scenarios
- Execute data migration test scenarios
- Create defects
- Retest fixed defects

UAT testing = user acceptance testing:
- Read & validate the RFA
- Create user acceptance test scenarios
- Create end-to-end test scenarios
- Create regression test scenarios
- Create data migration test scenarios
- 'GO' to start UAT test scenario execution
- Execute user acceptance test scenarios
- Execute end-to-end test scenarios
- Execute regression test scenarios
- Execute data migration test scenarios
- Create defects
