IT Travel Technican - Secret Clearance Job

IT TRAVEL TECHNICIAN needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Virginia Beach VA.

POSSESSION OF A SECRET CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED AS A CONDITION FOR EMPLOYMENT.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS SHOULD YOU POSSESS:

- Must have SECRET CLEARANCE
- Must Have one of the following Certs: APLUS Cert, NetworkPLUS Cert, CNNA Cert, MTA or MCTS Cert.
- Desktop support Skills

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Please note that all technicians will be trained on SM9 for incident reporting
- The standard work week is 40 hrs within a seven (7) day period (Monday to Sunday)
- Eight (8) hours a day with zero OT unless prior approved by both customer and leadership in writing

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- High School Diploma
- Advanced Active Directory Knowledge and Experience
- Advanced Knowledge and Experience with Microsoft products (specifically Windows 7 Operating Systems)
- Advanced Knowledge of a COTS ticketing system (preferably Remedy or Heat)
- Knowledge of Common Access Card (CAC)
- Knowledge of Navy customer (prior NMCI experience is a plus, prior military experience is helpful)
- Knowledge of printers (network and stand-alone, multiple vendors)
- Exceptional customer support skills
- Able to lift and carry 50lbs
- Able to work with minimal direction
- Able to quickly identify and resolve issues and follow set escalation paths when/if required
- All applicants must be able to travel on short notice and consistently up to 90% of the month.
