IT Trainer

IT TRAINER/TRAINING CONSULTANT/SYSTEMS TRAINER/ERP/EPICOR

Our client, a leading logistics and distribution company, is looking for a Trainer to join their Edinburgh site on an initial 6 Month contract basis. This person will be responsible for delivering training required for S&C staff accounts on the Epicor system.

KEY DELIVERABLES

- Attendance at supplier train the trainer events to obtain necessary knowledge and skills to deliver training for the Epicor ERP system
- Delivering the Epicor, Unisys and AS400 training programme
- Managing different personalities and styles during the training events to ensure effective knowledge transfer takes place
- Checking that staff fully understand the training that has been delivered to ensure they have the skills to carry out work related tasks for the business
- Capturing staff feedback from all training events and ensuring feedback is used for continuous improvement of the training
- Administering the training programme including development and provision of materials, booking rooms and co-ordinating attendance
- Resolving day to day issues arising during the training delivery period
- Input to the development of training measures
- Input to the development of the training manual to be used to train new starters and backfill staff post Go Live

REQUIRED SKILLS

- Excellent communicator
- Technical training experience
- Business transformation experience
- Experience using finance systems
