For a project at our banking client in Zurich we are looking for a
IT TEST MANAGER IN BANKING WITH SECURITIES AND/OR TAX EXPERIENCE (2703)
A Quality Manager facilitates and leads functional team efforts to improve client experience by optimizing the accuracy of work, and helps implement tools and systems to maintain and measure quality.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure and champion quality processes, which allow teams to identify, report, assess and resolve problems found during testing, and proactively avoid reoccurrences
- Resolve day to day issues and provide solutions
- Be QA subject matter expert in specific areas across projects within the bank
- Manage outsource resources workload, workflow, work queue, and results
- Train and mentor members of the team to help them solidify their testing expertise, scrutiny and use of the tools
- Develop standardized procedures - test plans, bug, regression testing, automated test cases
- Contribute to the automated testing efforts, and ensure comprehensive test coverage by finding defects and verifying fixes
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven success in position of similar responsibilities in a QA environment
- Outstanding eye for detail, and steadfast refusal to compromise on quality
- THOROUGH UNDERSTANDING OF WEB TERMINOLOGY, SPECIFICATIONS, AND QUALITY ASSURANCE
- KNOWLEDGE IN SECURITIES AND TAX
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required. MBA or other related advanced degree preferred.
- Fluent in English, German is considered a big advantage
