For our client in the banking sector in Frankfurt, we are currently hiring an IT Test Management Specialist (m/f).

Duration: 12 months with option to extend for another 12 months in a limited permanent position at Nash direct/Harvey Nash Group

Tasks:
*The IS test management specialist works primarily for a large software project which is entering the implementation phase.
*While the functional and non-functional requirements are largely written, She/he will need to work closely with the business analyst and the business Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)
*She/he works and supports both Project Managers (IT and business) to define, plan, refine and implement an effective test policy.
*Significant numbers of written deliverables and documented evidence is a component of the development approach and as such the candidate shall have a proven ability in this area.
*the test management specialist will also work on setting up a continuous quality management toolkit and environment in the client Test network
*He/she will be required to ensure non-functional requirements (such as performance and backup and restore targets) are tested adequately and hence a strong hands-on experience of the underlying technologies and services that support these features is a strong advantage.
*She/he contributes to the acceptance of Service Management deliverables in compliance with client IT policies.
*The IT test management specialist will review the test basis (requirements and other documentation) and collaborate with Business Analysts and Subject Matter Experts
*Design logical and concrete test cases
*define specific test conditions for test cases
*Define test data requirements
*Set the test case priorities
*Execute test cases according to schedule/specification (manually or automated)
*Report the execution of tests; Create the necessary defects and collaborate with the developers; Re-test the corrected defects
*Has good analytical skills and ability to grasp domain knowledge
*Has good writing skills: ability to describe functional and technical circumstances for defect reports
*shows transparency on all activities and provide technical tutorials explaining complex things with simple words both within the IT team and to the Business Area when needed

Your profile:
*Bachelors degree in information technology, computer science, information system security, or related disciplines
*Engineering and design experience
*Proven experience with test methodology as well as planning estimation, quality assurance and risk analysis. Required Certification ISTQB Foundation level (minimum).
*Expert in establishing, maintaining and applying IT project-related quality management processes for project and development.
*Proven knowledge of information technologies and comprehensive understanding of project management and system development methodologies used in projects.
*Experience with HPE ALM newest suite of Lifecycle management tools and especially documented experience of HPE Unified Functional Testing and HPE Performance Centre
*Proven experience with user interface testing and with performance and load testing
*Experience in test automation techniques
