IT Test Automation Engineer - Java

For our client, global banking company, located in Zurich is looking for a IT TEST AUTOMATION ENGINEER FOR A 12-MONTHS CONTRACT.

Your role
Are you rigorous in putting every application to test before users work with them?

We're looking for someone like that who can help us:
- CREATE AUTOMATED TESTS FOR JAVA PROGRAMS, side by side with developers, Embedded in a development team

Your team
You'll be working in the client orders/market connectivity team. Our role is to maintain and evolve the market gateways for client orders.

Your experience and skills

You have:
- a university degree in IT or a related field
- strong analytical skills to plan and execute test scenarios
- the communication skills to work effectively with internal colleagues from development, business analysis and project management, but mostly development

You are:
- able to write code in Java, as this is an automated tester role
- an expert user in Java
- fluent in English, especially technical vocabulary

IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- A developer that loves to test other people's code and can drive software quality up by his/her actions (including healthy discussions with his/her developers)
