IT Technician/Supporter (MCP, Mcse; German, ITIL, Ticketing)

Our client, a major player in the pharmaceutical industry is currently looking for a JUNIOR IT TECHNICIAN for a 4 months contract in Switzerland.

Your responsibility is to take care of Installation, Move, Add, Change and Disposal of my client's standard Hardware for end users. The team goal is to offer a customer focused service and to support the End User Support Teams in terms of cross functional processes and communication.

MAIN TASKS:

- Work with HPSM ticket system (track, document, implement)
- Allocate and prepare hardware for deployment
- Deliver and install IT-infrastructure (new user, bulk requests)
- Reclaim hardware process
- Handling of the repair process
- Inventory management (stock rooms, DSMT)
- Request HW via ARIBA
- Act as a point of contact for HW Pool customers and service providers

SKILLS:

- 2 + years of successful technical experience in a desk side support position or similar
- Excellent technical skills for analysing and troubleshooting problems in a complex customer environment.
- PC Hardware and Periphery. Windows Client Technology, Desktop and Productivity tools and experience with at least one Ticketing tool (HPSM is at use)
- Strong communication abilities and customer focused behavior
- Experience with ITIL (Foundation) is required
- Technical writing for documentation
- Very good English and German skills are required (written and spoken)

EDUCATION:

- High school diploma and informatics education (SIZ ), MCP - MCSE certification is an advantage

START: September 1st
END: 31st December 2015
Workload: 100% in Basel
German AND English compulsory
