IT Technician - Secret

Yoh has a contract opportunity for an IT TECHNICIAN to join our client in Bremerton, Washington.

POSSESSION OF A SECRET CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED AS A CONDITION FOR EMPLOYMENT.

JOB OVERVIEW:

- Typical hours will be 1600-0030 Local (upgrades) Monday thru Friday

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Each team will consist of six (6) dedicated system administrators capable of performing manual, desk-side operating system upgrades from NMCI WINXP to WIN7 - five (5) upgrade technicians and one (1) "sweeper" technician to resolve user-identified issues relating to efforts not resolved by the initial upgrade.
- Team members will

(1) decrypt the WINXP hard drive and perform the same backup of user data as the Automated IPL process
(2) locally install the NMCI WIN7 base image via an external Hard Drive
(3) install WIN7 NMCI certified replacement applications and drivers for previously installed WINXP compatible versions as directed by the assigned Echelon II CTR(s)
(4) restore user data backed up during the upgrade process.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- Be 8570 compliant
- A+, Network+, SSCP will work along with Security+.
- Also, the certificate has to be within the last three years, if not, then proof of continued education is needed.
- Full clearance verified in JPAS under the submitting vendor
- CAC Forms
- Before CACs can be processed, the contractor must be in JPAS under the submitting vendor

- NNPI - 175 page document to read and two forms to sign and send
