IT - Technician (Professional)

For a major Swiss client in the Pharma sector, Harvey Nash is urgently looking for an IT Technician/Support (professional level) for a role starting ASAP in May, till end of November. Requirements:

- MCP - MCSE certification is a plus
- minimum 2 years of successful technical experience in a desk side support position or similar
- Excellent technical skills for analysing and troubleshooting problems: PC HW and Periphery, Windows Client Technology, Desktop and Productivity tools
- experience with at least one Ticketing tool: HP ServiceDesk or HP ServiceManager, BMC Remedy or others
- Strong communication abilities and customer focused behaviour
- Experience with ITIL (Foundation) is required and technical writing & simple documentation
- Very good English and German skills are mandatory (written and spoken).

Duties and Tasks:
- Work with HP ServiceManager ticketing system (track, document, implement)
- Allocate and prepare hardware for deployment, deliver and install IT-infrastructure (new user, bulk requests)
- Inventory management (stock rooms, DSMT)
- Request HW via Ordering System (Ariba system)
- Act as a point of contact for HW Pool customers and service providers.
