IT Technician (Junior Level) in Basel

Für einen grossen Pharma-Kunden suchen wir dringend und ab sofort Junior IT Techniker für einen Projekteinsatz in Basel bis Ende August (6+ Monate mit Verlängerungsoption).Anforderungen/Requirements:

- High school diploma and informatics education: SIZ or similar; a MCP - MCSE certification is a plus
- min. 2 years of successful technical experience in a desk side support position or similar
- Excellent technical skills for analysing and troubleshooting problems in a complex customer environment: PC Hardware and Periphery, Windows Client Technology, Desktop and Productivity tools
- experience with at least one Ticketing tool: HP ServiceDesk or HP ServiceManager, Remedy etc.
- Strong communication abilities and customer focused behaviour
- Experience with ITIL (Foundation) is required and technical writing & simple documentation
- Very good English and German skills are mandatory (written and spoken).
- Residence near Basel (Switzerland) will be a plus.

Duties and Tasks: Work with HP ServiceManager ticket system (track, document, implement), allocate and prepare hardware for deployment, deliver and install IT-infrastructure (new user, bulk requests), reclaim hardware process, handling of the repair process, Inventory management (stock rooms, DSMT), request HW via Ordering System (special tool used in major companies), act as a point of contact for HW Pool customers and service providers.

Project details:
- Start: 06.03.2013 or ASAP in March
- End: 31.08.2013 (extension may be)
- Languages: very good English and German skills.
