IT Technician Job

IT TECHNICIAN needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in PARKERSBURG, WV.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Two to four (2-4) month project, could be extended
- This is a short-term, junior IT tech position.
- This job may exist in the following domains: eServices, Midrange, Personal Computing, and Telecommunications & Mobility.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Answers end user questions (or can direct users to the appropriate resources) regarding procedures, standards, and status from an infrastructure perspective. Responsible for gathering, compiling and synthesizing information with regard to infrastructure processes or systems.
- The primary focus of this position is to provide additional support to users and systems during this project.
- Experience and capability in any one or more of the following areas is needed to supplement current staff: Desktops, Printers, Servers, Workstations, or Networks.
- The position will be working as part of an "End to End" team consisting of IT Specialists, and Technicians to drive problem resolution and support across the site.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Desktop support of Windows 7 operating system, MS Office, Printing, and Network connectivity.
- Installation of new PCs and migration user files, configurations, and profiles
- Administration of Microsoft Server and Workstation Systems including accounts, printers, and file shares
- Support of Backup systems, including tape rotation and general data center operations
- Support of Local Area Networks in Manufacturing, Process Control, and Operations environments
