INTRODUCTION:

BACKGROUND

The Support Specialist is responsible for the Installation, Move, Add, Change and Disposal of client standard Hardware for end users. Our goal is to provide a strongly customer focused service and to support the End User Support Teams in terms of cross functional processes and communication.

Duties Involved:
- Work with HPSM ticket system (track, document, implement)
- Allocate and prepare hardware for deployment
- Deliver and install IT-infrastructure (new user, bulk requests)
- Reclaim hardware process
- Handling of the repair process
- Inventory management (stock rooms, DSMT)
- Request HW via ARIBA
- Act as a point of contact for HW Pool customers and service providers

Skills Required:
- 2 + years of successful technical experience in a desk side support position or similar
- Excellent technical skills for analysing and troubleshooting problems in a complex customer environment
- PC Hardware and Periphery knowledge
- Windows Client Technology, Desktop and Productivity tools and experience with at least one Ticketing tool
- Technical writing for documentation
- Strong communication skills and customer focused behavior
- Experience with ITIL (Foundation) is required
- Technical writing for documentation
- Very good English and German skills are required (written and spoken)

Nice to Haves:
- MCP - MCSE certification is an advantage
- High school diploma and informatics education
