For our pharmaceutical client in Basel, we are seeking an IT Technician
Start Date: 4th April 2016
End date: 30th June 2016
Location: Basel
Language: English & German
You are responsible for the Installation, Move, Add, Change and Disposal of our client's standard Hardware for end users. Our goal is to provide a strongly customer focused service and to support the End User Support Teams in terms of cross functional processes and communication.
Main Tasks
. Work with HPSM ticket system (track, document, implement)
. Allocate and prepare hardware for deployment
. Deliver and install IT-infrastructure (new user, bulk requests)
. Reclaim hardware process
. Handling of the repair process
. Inventory management (stock rooms, DSMT)
. Request HW via ARIBA
. Act as a point of contact for HW Pool customers and service providers
Requirements
. High school diploma and informatics education
. Minimum of 2 years' technical experience in a desk side support position
. Excellent technical skills for analysing and troubleshooting problems in a complex customer environment
. Knowledge of PC Hardware and Periphery. Windows Client Technology, Desktop and Productivity tools
. Experience with at least one Ticketing tool (eg HPSM)
. Strong communication abilities and customer focused behaviour
. Experience with ITIL (Foundation)
. Technical writing for documentation
. Very good English and German skills (written and spoken)
Nice to Haves:
+ MCP - MCSE certification is an advantage
