IT Technical Writer- Siebel Experience Preferred

Due to increased project requirements, our client a leading FMCG brand is searching for an experienced Technical Writer with Seibel user guide writing experience to join their team based at Sydney Olympic Park.

This role may suit a Business/Systems Analyst with an IT background. This project is focused on a key merger within the business; the successful candidate will be re-writing the policies/procedures surrounding this.

YOUR DAY TO DAY DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:

- Gather requirements from cross-functional teams and stakeholders to produce quality training materials
- Efficiently understand and reinterpret technical information for a specific target audience
- Liaise with multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams throughout the production process of user guides and manuals, be they print or multimedia
- Adhere to deadlines for agreed-upon deliverables across multiple projects

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED:

- Minimum 3 years developing technical training manuals
- Exemplary communication skills, both verbal and written
- Experience in the IT industry
- Strong interpersonal, communication, consulting, presentation and facilitation skills is required
- Ability to work with multiple priorities in cross functional project teams
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

Experience with re-writing IT policies and procedures is essential for this role and applicants with FMCG industry exposure will be preferred.

This is initially a 3 month contract with potential to extend and our client is ready to interview now.
