IT TECHNICAL WRITER needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in SCHENECTADY, NY!

- Skills/Tools/Technology:
- Languages: Java, SQL
- Tools: SVN, Oracle DB, Eclipse, Jira, Confluence, Gliffy, Visio

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Document Legacy codebase and DB structure.
- Run tools to get a baseline of code size, complexity, test coverage. Report-out findings for baseline.
- Interview product owner to understand system architecture and components.
- Create overview of components
- Document list of components/tools
- Document (diagram) interactions and data flows between tools
- Process flow diagram
- Sequence diagrams
- Describe Tables and fields
- Document constraints
- Document Stored Procedures, Sequences, Triggers
- All documentation to be organized and stored on project's Confluence site.
- Participate in Agile scrum meetingsdaily standups, reviews & retrospectives, and planning.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Programming experience desired
- Self-directed, detail oriented
