IT Systems Manager - Sydney CBD - $100k Package

THE CLIENT:

Our client is a leading Australian Brand with a network of offices nationwide. They are an established business that offers a range of services. They are an innovative industry leader that has to date built their success on their strong customer focus.

THE ROLE:

Our client is seeking an IT Systems Manager/Engineer to join their existing Technology team based here in Sydney. Although this is not their central IT hub, there is a support network in place for the successful applicant. This is a standalone role here in Sydney with support from Head Office and other team members based locally. The successful applicant will however be the subject matter expert for all Support, Server and Network based issues.

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

- To deliver a stable, reliable and functional IT environment and to resolve IT issues as they arise.
- Regular maintenance of workstations, Servers, Networks etc
- Prepare accounts and workstations for new staff, internal moves etc
- Act as the key relationship manager in the Sydney office on behalf of the IT Team
- Involvement in project based work

THE REQUIREMENTS:

Our client is seeking a "hands-on" Engineer to act as the systems manager for the company here in Sydney. In this role you will be dealing with a range of IT Support issues from Level 1 through to Server and Network support as well as ongoing project based work. This role involved dealing with frontline staff through to the "C" Level Executives.

- Previous experience working in a generalist role
- Assertiveness and willingness to work as the sole IT representative onsite
- Ability to prioritise and delegate tasks as required
- Experience in a role with a Network and Server/Systems requirement
- Experience with iPad, iPhones as well as Cloud a distinct advantage
