Our well known client is looking for a IT Systems engineer (Big Data)
Environment:
Maintenance and solution delivery in a highly critical production environment. Setup and support big data infrastructure services (eg Hadoop).24/7-support for a week (on call) and/or releases during weekends on a regular base (every 4/5 weeks).Working hours normally from 7.00/9.00 and 16.00/18.00 (flexible). Possibility to decentralize working (Leuven and/or Mechelen) or 2d/week).Processes (incident, release, DRP, ...) and scope can be volatile since this is a team and platform.
KNOWLEDGE:
- Linux (Red Hat 6/7)
- Scripting (eg. Python, Perl, bash, ...)
- Apache Hadoop
- Apache Hive, Ranger, Atlas, Ambari, HBase, Spark, ZooKeeper, R, ... IT Security Concepts (eg. SE Linux) Disaster Recovery/Business continuity concepts Virtualization concepts ITIL/IT governance/Agile Scheduling and filetransfer products GIT or subversion
KNOWLEDGE OF THESE IS A PLUS:
- Hortonworks distribution
- Kerberos/LDAP
- Public Cloud (Azure/AWS)
- Databases (Oracle, SQL Server, ...)
- Windows Server 2012
- Webservers (Tomcat, WebSphere, IIS)
