IT System Test Manager

1 year plus contact for a Test Manager with a strong background in managing large scale IT and Telecom testing projects.

Candidates should have BS Degree and 7+ years of equivalent work experience in a test project management role.

Demonstrated leadership experience including with a multifaceted background in test, project management, project controls, and IT systems.

7+ Years experience working on large-scale Information Technology and/or Telecom projects

Formal PMP certification, or record of formal PMP training

Experience structuring major projects, negotiating contracts, and dispute resolution.

Duties include:

- Manage End-to-End (E2E) Systems Integration of the Smart Grid initiative. Facilitate the definition of E2E test project scope, goals and deliverables.
- Develop full scale E2E test project plans including project timelines and deliverables Manage project test planning and construction resources (eg assignments and resource leveling) Leverage existing best practice and expert guidance Track project deliverables using appropriate tools.
- Constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders Present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions.
- Provide leadership to sustain a positive and highly collaborative environment consisting of an integrated team (Business SMEs, App Dev, Telecom, Test Lab, Vendor Parties.) Lead/facilitate specific E2E efforts that defines, develops and implements significant test deliverables: Plan and implement NGDR's Comprehensive Test Plan (CTP), including test strategy, approach and scope Plan and execute multi-vendor collaboration test workshops covering system environments, data, tools, techniques, contracted milestones, etc. Plan and implement test design and construction effort, including test scenarios, inputs, outputs and expected results
- Perform knowledge transfer to Test Execution and Defect Management resources responsible for these tasks: Test case development including detailed step-by-step process Detailed test case execution including Scripting/automation HP QC entry and management Leverage existing EW policies and procedures
- 7+ years of equivalent work experience in a test project management role. Demonstrated leadership experience including with a multifaceted background in test, project management, project controls, and IT systems. 7+ Years experience working on large-scale Information Technology and/or Telecom projects Formal PMP certification, or record of formal PMP training Experience structuring major projects, negotiating contracts, and dispute resolution.

Local candidates preferred. Must be able to work W-2 hourly only.
