IT System Migration Analyst

For our client, a pharmaceutical company in Switzerland, we are looking for a motivated and ambitious:

IT SYSTEM MIGRATION ANALYST

The position will support the Migration team on the SubmissionExpert project in PTR. SubmissionExpert is a new system that is being rolled out globally this year and next that will change the way the organization works, automating and simplifying a number of activities. This position supports the migration of data from external sources into the SubmissionExpert system. The migration team will review, transform, and migrate data into the system. This includes working with the owners of the data to address any identified issues.

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Supporting SubmissionExpert (Provide application insight, application analysis and complexity management, fast issue resolution with vendor)
- Supporting Data Migration (into Submission Expert): preparation, tooling, execution
- Review data contained in Excel sheets
- Run a series of excel macros to check for errors
- Work with a number of other systems to pull additional related information as part migration activities
- Review results, document and communicate issues to data owners
- Work with data owners to resolve issues
- Perform migration of final data into a SubmissionExpert environment and validate successful migration

MUST HAVES:

- Experience/high level of comfort with MS Excel (+5 years of hands-on experience as an expert)
- Experience in a regulatory environment (+2 years, ideally combined with using Excel)
- Experience with performing large systems migrations (must be visible in the last projects)
- Strong English language skills
- High attention to detail, proactive, good communication skills

NICE TO HAVES:

+++ Former Pharma experience (ideally having worked together with one or more business functions and IT in the past)
++ Experience in multi-site deployment project
+ German
