IT Supporter for the Credit Risk Office Production Team - English spea

This is an interesting role in the "CRO IT production support" team. The CRO team provides a portfolio of services, which includes 2nd level support for the CRO business users.
THE JOB:
- IT Support for the issues reported against CRO IT applications and resolve them in a timely manner
- Monitoring of scheduled batch jobs, as well as the identification of process improvements (eg automation of the manual monitoring process)
- Responsibility for the OLAs and SLAs between IT to IT and IT to business
- Proactive communication of batch job delays to users and senior management
- Escalation of critical and high priority issues to the senior management
- Full root cause analysis and a detailed investigation of issues in the agreed time
- Ownership for the IT/incident tickets open in the area of responsibility
- Subject Matter Expert for one or more applications in the application portfolio
- Strong collaboration with the application development teams and the other relevant interfaces
WE ARE LOOKING FOR CANDIDATES WITH:
- University (or equivalent) qualification in an IT/Scientific subject
- 5 years' plus experience in an IT Support role (ideally in front or Middle Office in IB)
- Some Banking/Finance/Risk knowledge is required
- Practical experience with Unix/Linux and Shell Scripting
- Basic Experience with SQL (ideally Oracle/Sybase)
- Batch/Control-M experience is a strong plus, but only a nice to have
- ITIL V3 certificate is a strong plus
- Knowledge of multiple technologies is an advantage: Excel, VBA, C#/ASP.NET, Java, C++
- Skills in Incident-/Problem-, Release- and Change Management (from a production perspective)
- Good understanding of monitoring modelling/practices
- Excellent communication skills in English, German is a plus
