IT Support Technician - SAN, NAS, CIFS - Switzerland. Lab instruments.
Our client is a major player in the nutrition and health sciences based in Lausanne and as part of an ongoing Laboratory support project, are currently looking for an IT support technician.
With a background in Windows, you will have experience in working with SAN, NAS and CIFS, anti-virus and vendor remote access. Exposure to ghost image copying and CMD file script writing would also be a strong advantage. Previous experience of working with Laboratory instrument software is highly desired, although not essential.
Your role will be to integrate new equipment into the laboratory IT infrastructure working with third-party vendors to ensure that all implementation is done within the company's security policy and guidelines.
As this is a lab environment, strong attention to detail is essential including documentation, organisation and configuration.
You will be required to run diagnostics, perform automation tasks (script writing and monitoring) and have the ability to configure and reconfigure systems as required.
