IT Support Specialist Job

IT SUPPORT SPECIALIST needed for a CONTRACT job opportunity with Yoh's client located in Campbell, CA.

TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS

- Must have worked for a startup or small business environment that was a mixed environment (Mac, Windows, Linux)
- Linux, Windows, and Mac

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Consolidate systems logins using Windows Active Directory
- Ensure all systems comply with backup, security and compliance policies and procedures
- Enhance the current Microsoft Windows system policies and execute user/computer integrations
- Manage new-hire hardware and software setup
- Manage general office end-user hardware and software support
- Manage hardware and software procurement per policies and procedures
- Maintaining hardware and software support for Linux, Windows, and Mac
- Maintaining support for general office equipment

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Must come from a small business or start up mixed environment
- Experience working in a Windows, Mac and Linux environment
- Experience installing, configuring, and managing Windows server technologies
- Experience Developing and implementing Windows system policies
- Maintaining support for general office equipment
- Maintaining hardware and software support for Linux, Windows, and Mac

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience in Google Apps, Matlab, Git, Subversion, Crucible, Jira, and Confluence
- Install, configure, and manage Linux systems (CentOS and Ubuntu)
