IT Support Specialist

Next Ventures is executing a search for a Support System and Admin for a client in Germany.

The consultant will be expected to work in Lund, Sweden for only 4-5 weeks, then the remainder in  German.

Expected start date of role:        15TH OCT, 2013

Expected end date of role:      30TH JUNE, 2014 

MUST HAVE SKILLS:

Server Support  (RHEL, Ubuntu, Solaris, Windows 2003)

- Hardware Management and provisioning of Servers and other required equipment.
- Management of shared resources, eg virtual server management.
- Management of the operating system layer.
- Platform Specific Security

Management

- QAS/VAS (Quest Authentication Services) for Linux Servers
- Management of Linux personalities/identities in AD
- CF ENEIN (Linux configuration management

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS:

- HP Backup Management
- Ensure Backups are done as per the policy
- Snapshot backups and Tape backups
- Archival process
- DR Process
