We are currently looking for an IT Support Specialist to be brought on for 5 Month contract opportunity. Please read all details below before applying

Start Date: 1/21/2013

End Date: 5/31/2013

Hours: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm
Location: Stamford, CT
Pay Rate: $13.00/hr

JOB DESCRIPTION:

- Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems, hardware and computer peripherals.
- Documents, maintains, upgrades or replaces hardware and software systems.
- Supports and maintains user account information including rights, security and systems groups.
- May require an associates degree in a related area or 1 - 3 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
- Familiar with a variety of the fields concepts, practices, and procedures.

JOB RESPONSIBLITES:

- Software installs, hardware break/fix support, SW/HW trouble-shooting, PC builds/deployments, case documentation and SLA adherence.
- The successful applicant needs to have excellent people skills and communication skills - both written and verbal.
- This role also requires the ability to multi-task and function in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
- Documents, maintains, upgrades or replaces hardware and software systems. Supports and maintains user account information including rights, security and systems groups

REQUIREMENTS:

- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office. Windows 7 experience a plus. Excellent customer service skills a requirement.
- May require an associates degree in a related area or 1 - 3 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the fields concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
- Must have A+ Certification

BACKGROUND CHECK REQUIREMENTS:

- All candidate selections are contingent upon successfully passing both background and drug screening.
- Background check requirements: 7 year criminal background
- Drug Screening: 5 Panel drug screen
