IT Support Specialist

About the job:
We are looking for an experience IT Support Specialist who has hands on experience with the supporting, troubleshooting, and repairing computer systems, hardware and peripherals. The ideal candidate will have their A+ certification and 1-3 years of experience. This a 1-Year contract with the possibility of extensions.

IN THIS POSITION YOU WILL:

- Primarily be required to act as an IMAC (Install, Add, Move, Change) coordinator who tracks and documents equipment hardware upgrades and replacements
- Responsible for scheduling equipment hardware upgrades and replacements with the end user and then forwarding the schedule on to the appropriate groups
- Travel to various locations to coordinate and schedule replacements or upgrades
- Interact with users and customers, along with managers and supervisors

REQUIREMENTS:

- 1-3 years of experience in a Desktop or Desk side support role
- Valid Driver's license and reliable transportation
- A+ Certification highly preferred
- Familiar with a variety of the fields concepts, practices, and procedures
- Strong communication, organization and planning, work ethic, client facing and interpersonal skills.

START DATE : 10-15-12

END DATE: 10-15-13

LOCATION: Spark, MD with travel to surrounding areas

HOURS : Mon-Fri 8am-5pm

PAY RATE: $15/hr

It is required that all contractors complete a background check and drug screen report. They must pass a drug screen with a positive clearance and the background check without the following convictions on their record
