IT Support Officer

A great opportunity has become available for an IT SUPPORT OFFICER to assist a large government organization in the Northern Sydney Region.

The successful applicant will be tasked with providing basic technical and systems assistance for IT hardware and other related equipment. A valid driver's license is mandatory.

This role is an entry level role and has a high level of administration.

The Role:

- Inventory management
- Checking of hardware and equipment, reporting faults, organising replacements as required
- Manage a database with regards to equipment information
- Ongoing technical support for hardware and software as required
- Uploading software for user devices
- Extensive liaison with colleagues and managers in different locations

Your Background:

- ABILITY TO USE COMPUTER APPLICATIONS
- HIGH LEVEL ATTENTION TO DETAIL, DEMONSTRATED PROBLEM SOLVING AND ANALYTICAL SKILLS
- CUSTOMER SERVICE AND ADMINISTRATIVE SKILLS, ABILITY TO LEARN NEW SKILLS QUICKLY
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Maturity and ability to interact with a diverse group of people
