IT Support Officer

A fantastic opportunity has become available for multiple HANDS-ON IT SUPPORT OFFICERS to provide high quality technology support services for internal staff. You will be responding to user enquiries and requests supporting all IT and IT services.

YOUR DUTIES:

- Providing advice and hands-on support including the connection of laptops to the wireless network and equipment set-ups
- Identifying and escalating individual and systemic problems requiring resolution within appropriate timeframes
- Providing information and guidance to users relating to audio visual and videoconference technologies
- Maintaining routine records of services provided and preparing reports as needed

YOUR BACKGROUND:

- 1-3 years experience in a similar role
- High-level INTERPERSONAL, COMMUNICATION, TEAMWORK AND CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS including proven ability to work under pressure with minimum supervision
- Demonstrated effectiveness in providing technology based user support in a customer service environment and providing IT or conference, video conference, or audio visual equipment and facilities support
- Understanding of the elements which comprise IT infrastructure, such as networks, applications, Servers and workstations
- Capacity and willingness to travel and work outside normal office hours. A current driver's licence is required.
