IT Support Manager - Switzerland (French Speaking)

Role: IT Support Manager (French Speaking)
Duration: 12 months
Location: Lausanne, Switzerland
Daily rate: €550 per day
A leading IT group requires the services of an experienced French speaking IT Support Manager to join them in Lausanne, Switzerland on a 12 month contract.
The main objective of this position is to ensure the continuity of the monitoring in place and participate at its enhancement.
Monitoring tasks
-Install new agent with Companies standard on new Servers or new application.
-Review/validate "ITIL changes" in order to assess the impact/workload for the monitoring
-Create/update/enhance dashboards
-Analyze wrong behavior and raise & followup ticket to the vFabric (our monitoring solution) support team.
-Interact with the Application, DB Oracle, AIX (IBM) or Linux teams in order to create/enhance the monitoring.
-Enhance the existing solution wherever it is possible.
-Give support on the tool to the different teams
Sustain and improve monitoring & technical support standards
-Create/update or modify technical support L1 procedure
-Train L1 team on the procedure and give support to the support team
-Update monitoring documentation
-Ensure a high availability of the applications, databases and Servers monitoring
-Respect of service level agreements in place.
-Respect IT best practices
Knowledge and Professional skills
-Degree in Information Technology (HES or University)
-3 - 5 years experience in IT
-Has worked with a monitoring tool or a Client Server in Java
-Knowledge of vFabric Hyperic tool is a plus
-Unix Shell Scripting
-Good analytical and synthesis skills in the IT production environment
-Proactive and solution-finding approach
-Good communication skills in English and French.
-Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
