IT Support Desk Consultant

My client is a global investment company specialised in assisting its clients manage and service their financial assets. Offering financial services in 36 countries and more than 100 markets the organisation helps its customers create, trade, distribute or restructure investments. In line with Bank's expansion plans in Frankfurt the position of a 2nd Line Support Consultant has arisen to be be staffed at the soonest possible opportunity. In this position you will resolve and report various desktop or Infrastructure problems, providing 2nd line desktop support to approximately 1000+ users. You will assist users and management to install, configure, and troubleshoot PC/Infrastructure Hardware and Software. Supported Business lines are located at various sites across EMEA so as part of this function you will service multiple locations/users remotely (pc remote connections and phone contact). Occasional visits to these sites may also be part of your function. Currently service locations are: Abu-Dhabi, Amsterdam, Beirut, Breda, Brussels, Cairo, Copenhagen & Dubai to name a few. To be considered for this position you should have the following qualifications: * Experience of Windows XP desktop support, MS Office 2003, 2007, 2010 and other MS products * Good Working Knowledge of Lotus Notes and MS Exchange/outlook * Hands on support of mobile technology such as laptops and Blackberry Basic * Knowledge of corporate phone/voice systems * ITIL Foundation. * Citrix Experience * Antivirus Software and VPN * Call logging system Remedy * Symantec Ghost and PC Build Skills * Excellent German and English language skill (both written and spoken) Please contact Taimur Malik at Huxley Associates on +49 69 1338 4 5508 for more information or submit your application documents now for immediate consideration.
