Our client, one of the biggest pharmaceutical companies based in Basel, is looking for a GERMAN IT SUPPORT having experience in DATA HISTORIAN/PROCESS AUTOMATION AND AUTOMATION INFRASTRUCTURE.
This is a contracting role based in Basel and planned to start ASAP until end of the year with great extension opportunities.
Are you a GERMAN IT SUPPORTER with experience in Pharma production or IT environment (GxP, CSV)?

BACKGROUND:
For the Manufacturing IT Team our client is looking for someone to support their Data Historian and the Interfaces to the automation layer on site. You will perform the 2nd Level Support for the applications they manage, working following ITIL and CSV guidelines, define, run and document changes within the system.
You will be in close collaboration with Process Automation, Quality Assurance and global IT and will also support running projects.
TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Install and configure and maintain Data Historian Environments incl. interfaces
Support the creation of visualization displays of machine data
Install and maintain the required infrastructure (virtual machines, physical server)
2nd Level Support for industrial informatic systems
Support of projects
Once onboard on call support
Close collaboration with internal and external partners like Business, Informatics, Process Automation and Suppliers
IDEAL PROFILE:
2-3 YEARS of EXPERIENCE in PROCESS AUTOMATION, DATA HISTORIAN and AUTOMATION INFRASTRUCTURE
Degree in Informatics or Engineering
Experience in specifying, configuration, testing and documenting of systems and applications
Self-reliant, resilient, flexible and have a high service orientation
Good technical understanding with good networked thinking
Good communication skills
GERMAN SPEAKING (IS MANDATORY)
NICE TO HAVES:
- Experience in Pharma production or IT environment (GxP, CSV)
- English
- Project Experience
