IT Support Analyst - London Offices

Capita Property and infrastructure has a network of over 50 offices across the UK, housing our 4000 employees. To support the IT infrastructure and networks we have an in-house IT team working across the UK.

Into this thriving team we are looking to recruit a new Support Analyst to support our London offices, working within the M25. This Support Analyst role involves the identification, prioritisation, and resolution of end user requests, including the monitoring, tracking and reporting of high priority incidents to senior management.

As an experienced Support Analyst, it is expected that you will be able to demonstrate:

* Extensive experience of installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting end user Desktop hardware, software, and peripheral devices as well as server hardware, software and peripherals.
* The ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with key players in the business including the service desk team as well as managers and directors across the Capita P&I business.
* Experience in a customer-facing, end user support environment.
* A very strong technical understanding of Microsoft Office and Operating Systems. Experience of troubleshooting hardware such as servers, routers, bridges, switches, hubs, modems, network interface cards, and so on.
* Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.
* Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills. Able to conduct research into systems and products as required.
* Ability to prioritise and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment and make sound decisions in emergency situations.
* Ability to present ideas in a user-friendly language.
* Highly self-motivated and directed.
* Keen attention to detail. Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities. Strong customer service orientation.
* Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

It would be highly advantageous if you also display:

* Professional approach to, and an understanding of, IT Service Delivery
* Project management skills
* An awareness of financial implications of IT costs
* Professional Networking certifications
* Understanding of ITIL Framework to Foundation Level
* Understanding of Virtualisation technology and Thin Client systems
