For our banking client we are currently looking for a
IT Support Analyst
Start date: 01.07.2017
Duration: 24 Months
Location: Zurich
A Junior Professional is responsible for providing general administrative, technical and/or professional support that adds value to the organization. Our Team is responsible for providing second level IT support in the incident, problem and request management space for a broad
portfolio of analytical applications and such have to ensure a stable production environment while also pursuing the challenge of continuous improvement.
The ideal candidate shall bring:
- a university degree or equivalent
- experience in DATA WAREHOUSE concepts and architecture
- Maintain and document different DATA WAREHOUSE applications
- In-depth knowledge with DATABASE TECHNOLOGIES such as SQL, ETL, data transformation, data loading, data mining
- In-depth working experience with IBM DB2
- Experience in coding Unix SHELL/AWK-programming to manipulate data on databases like DB2
- In-depth working experience with AIX operating system
Nice to have skills
- an understanding of physical, logical and conceptual models
- strong analytical, problem-solving and synthesizing skills
- Know design and implementation of analytical platforms (ODS, DHW, DM)
- Understand analytical processing, data movements and extract processing
- Understand user needs and technical requirements in order to conduct data analysis
- Analyse and understand existing database applications and their use with the bank's business processes
- Know the business needs of data and understand their banking-related transformation and storage
- Understand physical, logical and business models, derived data, ERD
- Understand meta data and data extract processing for visualization (reports and cube)
- Understand reference data and surrogate concepts
- Troubleshoot and collaborate efficiently with technicians and business analyst of different teams
- Working experience with any Data Visualization tools like Cognos/Business Object is a plus
