IT Supplier Manager

We are seeking an IT Supplier Manager for a 4 month contract position in Alpharetta, GA. Individual will need to be knowledgeable in both business and technology elements. Focus will be to ensure client receives value from supplier engagements.

Skills:

- Must have strong knowledge of technology specific to software storing Servers
- Prior experience working as a Supplier Manager in a large organization
- Person will be more focused on contract management then supplier management

Responsibilities:

- Linking and aligning technical teams, Asset Management, Finance, Legal, Sourcing and suppliers on key initiatives
- Track contract renewals and ensure agreements are monitored
- Review contract structure with key constituents to ensure needs are being met
- Link internal resources and suppliers for success on technology initiatives, road-mapping, etc.
- Review and report on industry forces influencing our supply chain
- Create supplier performance plan to obtain the best service possible
- Link with Project Management resources to make sure suppliers are delivering on their obligations
- Assist with identifying cost saving opportunities
