Project/Department Description and responsibilities:
- Information Technology Shared Services
- Infrastructure Division
Primary Tasks and responsibilities
- GRQP project related IT Infrastructure activities
- Analyze systems and document systems in scope of CSV according to SDLC requirements
- Server, Printer & Data Center monitoring, administration and operation
- 2nd & 3rd Line support (troubleshooting, incident management, debugging)
- Design & deploy solutions
- Integration and support of solutions together with other application teams
- Performance monitoring & tuning
- Creation and improvements of operational guidelines, implementation guidelines and QA documentation
- Disaster recovery design & support activities
- Executing planned maintenance (security patching, operating system and tooling upgrades
NON-TECHNICAL PROFILE REQUIREMENTS
- Some flexibility in working hours is required (occasional over-time or weekend/holiday work)
- Strong tracking, coordination and project planning skills
- Ability to identify and implement process and/or application improvements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Must be able to work on multiple simultaneous tasks with limited supervision
- Quick learner, motivated self-starter
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal, communication and team collaboration skills
- Able to follow change management procedures and internal guidelines
- On-call permanency is possible Methodology/Certification requirements
- Strong knowledge Microsoft Server technologies and Vmware
- Microsoft MCSE, MCITP or MCSA on Windows Server technologies
- Experience with Linux is a plus
- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science OR Federal Diploma in Information Technology.
- Advanced course work in technical systems plus continued education in technical disciplines is preferred Language proficiencies
- German spoken and written
- English spoken and written
