IT Specialist - Navy Yard Job

IT DESKTOP SPECIALIST needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Washington DC.

POSSESSION OF SECRET CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED AS A CONDITION FOR EMPLOYMENT.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Provide desk side support for users on Microsoft Operating System
- Troubleshoot desktop/laptop computers, printers, BB, mobile devices etc.
- Work independently or part of a team in troubleshooting and/or escalating tickets.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Must have a Secret level clearance or above
- Certified: CompTIA Security+
- Two to five (2-5) years of current experience
- Experienced providing Tier 1 desktop support
- Experienced with troubleshooting Windows OS desktop/laptop computer
- Experienced with installing peripherals (BB's, scanners, printers)
- Experienced with Remedy ticketing system

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Familiarity with Military Protocol
- Military Information Technology experience
