IT SOX CONTROL SPECIALIST

Our Client is a World leader in banking with some of the highest holding figures in past years. We are now on the lookout for an experienced IT SOX Control Consultant that will be responsible for the quality assurance review of the SOX controls, controls reporting to MBE Management, EMEA Headquarters (London) and Head office (East Asia) and provide controls training and assisting business units in remediating weak processes.

PURPOSE OF THE IT SOX CONTROL SPECIALIST

- Perform review of the ITGC and ITAC test results to maintain quality of testing and minimise issues identified by internal/external audit.
- Act as first point of contact for all IT SOX work undertaken. Coordinate and liaise with London and Head Office counterparty on SOX, internal controls related matters and manage the submission of any deliverables arising from these areas.
- Ensure compliance with the Bank's books of instructions, procedures and guidelines together with all relevant regulatory and statutory requirements where appropriate implementing actions to protect the Bank's business at all times.

THE IDEAL IT SOX CONTROL SPECIALIST WILL HAVE

- Certified Information Systems Audit (CISA) or equivalent qualification is a must
- Additional qualifications like ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CIA would be preferable
- The candidate should be proficient in written and spoken English; written and spoken Dutch language is a bonus.
- The candidate should have a good knowledge of risks and controls particularly IT risks.
- Working knowledge of COBIT and COSO Framework
- Expert knowledge of Risk and Controls
- Knowledge of banking products ie Lending and Guarantee process would be an added advantage
